You can construct this basket entirely from used cards, or cut the basket from purchased cardstock as on the photo. A collection of sledge images were used with one image glued to each side. A long strip of greeting text was used as a handle. The images can be themed or be a random collection.

The basket is great for cookies or a jar of preserves wrapped in a serviette as shown on the photo. It can also function as a container for a collection of small items. Add a tag and you have a lovely gift pack. Secure the bottom and seams very well with tape if you plan to put a heavy item in the basket.

Make little gift baskets as personal gifts or to sell. Examples are a bath basket with soap, a wash cloth and fizz ball; a baking or cooking basket with spices and herbs; a hot chocolate basket with cocoa, sprinkles and marshmallows; or a food basket with nuts, cookies, salty snacks or chocolates. Put edibles in food safe plastic bags first.
